Banded Peak School Volunteer Day Brings Energy and Impact to the Community Centre

This past week, the Bragg Creek Community Centre was buzzing with energy as over 50 students from Banded Peak School’s Grade 7–8 classes rolled up their sleeves for a day of volunteer service.

As part of a school-wide volunteer initiative, these amazing students tackled a wide range of clean-up and beautification projects both inside and outside the Centre. Their efforts included:

  • Raking and leveling the playground area
  • Pulling weeds and cutting back brush
  • Painting and touch-ups around the facility
  • General tidying and organizing

Thanks to their enthusiasm and hard work, our Centre is looking better than ever. These projects not only improved our community space but also demonstrated the incredible impact young people can have when they work together toward a shared goal.

The Bragg Creek Community Association extends a heartfelt thank you to Banded Peak School staff and students for their incredible support and community spirit. Your contribution has made a lasting difference!
