Welcome to Sprout Movement, active play programs for the early years! We promote active play and fun for the whole family, by developing the skills needed for everyone to play. Active Me. Active Family. Sprout Movement was born out of the idea that if we give children and families the skills and knowledge to be active right off the bat, then we are arming them with the ability for a lifetime of physical activity.

Laura Spruyt (pronounced Sprout!), the founder and imagination behind Sprout Movemen, a recreation professional (Concordia University in Montreal).  My passion has always been to ensure everyone is able to be involved and engaged in being active.  I love trail running, skiing and playing outside with my two kiddos!

$165.00 | Mondays, April 10 - June 8 | 6:00-7:00pm & 7:00-8:00pm To Register, CLICK HERE

This exciting new class put on by Acrobatic Studios is offering double the excitement of two urban sports. This class is one busy hr.

Park our: involves seeing one's environment in a new way, and imagining the potential for navigating it by movement around, across, through, over and under its features

Cyr Wheel: A simple piece of equipment, with endless possibilities of movement which seem impossible. This requires strength, agility, and balance.

Individual Students progression is monitored in our six level program.  The students are taught by professional coaches, in a safe, positive environment.

Acrobatic Studio has invested in specialized equipment to offer this new program, so it is something we plan to offer in Bragg Creek for a long time.

Photography Lessons – The Art of Composition

$180.00 | Mondays, April 3-May 1 (NO CLASS APRIL 17th) | 7:00-9:00pm | To Register, CLICK HERE

“Composition is the placement or arranging of visual elements or ingredients within a work of art as opposed to the subject itself” (Wikipedia). In this course we will explore the various visual elements that make up a photograph and how they can be used in order to create the results you are looking for. There are some rules or guidelines for composition that can be useful, though it is important not to become a slave to them. However, understanding the Rule of Thirds, the Golden Mean and other proven design guidelines will help you make photographs that are pleasing to the viewer. They will also help you tell your visual story. Once understood you will be better equipped to then break the rules. The constraints inherent in photography can be a benefit because they can help the photographer zero-in on a subject and compose to best effect. We will learn about these constraints and how to use them to benefit your photography.

In order to gain the most from this course you should already have a sound understanding of camera control, particularly exposure, depth-of-field, and white balance. If you have not already done so, you may want to consider attending my Fundamentals Of Camera Control course first.Details to come! To register, visit: www.chrisbonephotography.com
